<p>Overview</p> <p>Undergraduate Nursing Adjunct teaching position.</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Educates students in general education core; and/or health studies; and/or professional courses by providing instructional experiences that support mission and goals of university and/or program. Under the administrative direction of the Academic Dean and/or general direction of the Program Chair.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <p>Coordinates and delivers courses as needed.</p> <p>Evaluates student learning outcomes for expected course and program competencies.</p> <p>Participate in classroom and/or clinical instruction.</p> <p>Communicates institutional and program policies and goals to students, faculty, staff, and clinical affiliates as appropriate.</p> <p>Communicates course learning outcomes and expected student competencies.</p> <p>Participates in activities to remain current with advances in knowledge base, teaching and learning strategies, professional practice, trends, issues, and curricular resources.</p> <p>Participates in the assessment of Program Learning Outcomes as needed.</p> <p>Perform other accountabilities as assigned or directed.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Knowledge/Education/Experience</p> <p>Master's degree in teaching or professional discipline; or Master's Degree with a minimum of eighteen (18) graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline or Master's Degree in a related or academically appropriate discipline and the terminal degree/certificate in the professional discipline.</p> <p>Work or teaching experience equivalent to two (2) years of post-secondary teaching in the discipline.</p> <p>Professionalism and Scholarship</p> <p>Demonstrates basic currency with trends, issues, and practices in the profession or discipline</p> <p>Licensure, Registration, Certification</p> <p>Current license/certification to practice in the State of Tennessee as appropriate to professional practice areas.</p>
