<p>Role Descriptions & Responsibilities</p> <p>As an intern within the Simulation Visualization team, you will work closely with the R&D team to develop and improve our use of Machine Learning for Results Interpretation. The Simulation Visualization R&D team is responsible for the development of applications to provide visualization of simulation data from Structural, Fluids, and Electro-magnetic simulations utilizing the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. We develop simulation visualization applications which run both on-premise and on the cloud. Our visualization architecture runs in a multi-core environment. We are a diverse team working in Rhode Island, France, Germany, and India.</p> <p>Potential topics depending the current progress on our projects. Examples include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Extracting simulation results to train ML models for results interpretation</p> </li><li> <p>Leverage machine learning tools to help user interpret results</p> </li><li> <p>Apply AI driven methods within our algorithms to be more adaptive/robust/usable</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Currently enrolled in college or master's degree program with focus on Computer Science </li><li>Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering or Physics is desirable </li><li>Knowledge of programming in a structured language (C++, Python, and JavaScript preferable) </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills in English </li><li>Should be a quick learning, enjoys learning new software tools and technologies </li><li>Work onsite at the Dassault Systèmes Johnston office </li></ul> <p>This internship opportunity is based out of our Johnston, RI Office.
