Let People, Incorporated be Your Path to Opportunity!</p> <p>SUMMARY: The role of the Licensed Practical Nurse is to work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and to be responsible for the health care services of the individuals supported in Adult Day Services programs.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Administer medications and treatments prescribed by the individuals Primary Care Physician (PCP) during the time the individual is at the program. </li><li>Coordinate each individuals care with other health care professionals, including where the individual resides. </li><li>Monitor each individuals health status, and document those findings in their record. </li><li>As delegated, document any medical conditions or findings in the individuals record every six months. </li><li>Report changes in the individuals condition to the RN; or, in the RNs absence, report changes to the Program Director and, as delegated, the PCP. </li><li>Provide oversight of the implementation of the PCPs recommendations, and, as delegated, provide oversight of the interdisciplinary teams therapy treatment. </li><li>As delegated, provide training to staff members on individuals medical protocols. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, division management team member, or division director. </li><li>Participate in all staff meetings and required training sessions, including in-service training, as scheduled. </li><li>Maintain all program and Agency required trainings. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Attainment of a license for a Massachusetts licensed practical nurse </li><li>Ability to maintain on file a current copy of all required professional licenses, CPR, first aid, and health records </li><li>Knowledge and skill obtained through at least two years of experience in human services </li><li>Skill in communicating and working both independently and within a team </li><li>A qualifying criminal background check, driving record, and a valid drivers license </li></ul> <p>Why join our Team?</p> <p>Come work in a rewarding and creative environment that encourages growth, collaboration and community involvement that is exploding with opportunities.</p> <p>At People Incorporated you will find a path to endless opportunities and a rewarding career!
