Our medical center serves as a regional referral, teaching hospital and is also outfitted with the latest technologies to assist our professionals in providing the highest standard of care for patients of all ages.</p> <p>Required Certifications and Licenses:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum (1) one year of recent/current acute care hospital experience preferred </li><li>Active NJ LPN License or Multistate LPN License with NJ Endorsement </li><li>BLS certification through American Heart Association </li><li>Graduate from an accredited NLN School of Nursing </li></ul> <p>Scheduling Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Day Shift 8:00am 4:00pm </li><li>Schedule will vary depending on department needs </li><li>Per Diem </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <p>The Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) functions under the supervision of a professional nurse and the nurse manager in providing patient care utilizing the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards. He/She perform specific duties and are considered an integral part of the nursing team. He/She will assist in the gathering information and making observation regarding the patient s condition.
