Established in 1896, we are dedicated to the elimination of death, injury, property and economic loss due to fire, electrical and related hazards. The Association delivers information and knowledge through more than 300 consensus codes and standards, research, training, education, outreach and advocacy; and by partnering with others who share an interest in furthering the NFPA mission. It is an exciting and empowering time to work at NFPA.</p> <p>NFPA is searching for an experienced Sales Account Manager to drive our Global Sales initiatives focused on the Middle East and India to expand our market for NFPA's Codes and Standards offerings. This role drives accelerated growth of revenue and is committed to customer satisfaction across multiple industries within the US and Middle East, India and Africa territories. The ideal candidate will work with a stakeholder base to identify opportunities to create new solutions for our stakeholder's needs, develop relationships and manage accounts at all levels. The Regional Sales Manager will also focus on discovering and identifying new markets for growth domestically and internationally. To be considered for this important job, your experience includes examples of your compelling competencies in problem solving, negotiation and decision making.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Drive revenue through existing and new stakeholder relationships. </li><li>Manage accounts through consistent follow-up and a consultative sales approach. </li><li>Identify product and solution gaps and communicate these back to lines of business leaders. </li><li>Use data to uncover new opportunities and unmet market needs. </li><li>Follow up on leads and work with Marketing to identify campaigns. </li><li>Solve uniquely and highly complex problems that have a broad impact on the organization requires novel and creative approaches to resolution. </li><li>Mastery of a wide body of professional concepts and methods within and beyond own function; anticipates internal or external business needs or issues and recommends processes, products or services. </li><li>Operate independently in a complex environment. </li><li>Develop priorities in accordance with organizational goals. </li><li>Achieve results independently. </li><li>Collaborate and utilize resources and expertise within and outside the department. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in business/marketing or equivalent. </li><li>7+ years of validated sales experience, including leading sophisticated and large-scale assignments. Including Territory, Account, and Funnel management. </li><li>Global sales preferred, Europe and Middle East specifically. Speaking Arabic is highly preferred </li><li>Strong negotiation, problem solving and decision-making execution skills. </li><li>An excellent communicator, collaborative teammate and innovator! </li><li>Understanding effective tools, techniques and tips in sales prospecting strategy. </li><li>The ability to build trust within a large and diverse environment while working with others and forming long-lasting and meaningful relationships on behalf of the business. </li><li>Strong project planning, prioritizing and organizational skills along with a strong focus on timelines, deadlines and deliverables on multiple concurrent projects. </li><li>You believe honesty is the best sales strategy period and are persistent. </li><li>You are comfortable partnering with all levels of the organization and are especially skilled in engaging senior sales and marketing executives. </li><li>You own your role and take responsibility for your output, follow through, and understand that mistakes happen and can be learned from. </li><li>Experience with a CRM platform, HubSpot experience is a plus. </li><li>Understanding the immense value in effective goals setting </li><li>A demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity, contributing to an inclusive working, and learning environment. </li><li>You are naturally curious and are driven to delight your customers and prospects knowing that those successes further the mission and goals of NFPA. </li></ul> <p>National Fire Protection Association provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.</p>
