With exceptional providers and convenient locations, we support each patient's journey to wellness and are committed to our community's health and well-being.</p> <p>Tower Control:</p> <p>The Tower Control performs administrative and clinical duties under the direction of supervisor and clinic manager. The Tower Controller duties include managing providers schedules providing access to patients, scheduling, rescheduling and canceling appointments, contact patients to schedule appointments. This is a part-time 20 hour per week position.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>With a Quality, Customer First, and Compassionate approach, the Tower Support will:</p> <ul> <li>Provide proper triage for patients. </li><li>Monitor and regulate schedules and walk-in patients. </li><li>Answer, screen phone calls, provide information and schedule patients appointments in the EHR system. </li><li>Team based Care: Clinical-collaboration- work in collaboration with medical, front desk, providers, clinical staff, and patients to promote access to appropriate care in the goal of enhancing patient care. </li><li>Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues in other departments. </li><li>Monitor, maintain, and provide appropriate follow-ups on the schedule contacting patients due for a visit when a cancellation occurs. </li><li>Alert other departmental teams in the event of schedule changes and emergencies. </li><li>Assist and search for available appointments to fulfill access care to patients in timely manner. </li><li>Compile and analyze patient needs to develop more effective patient care and prevent delays. </li><li>Outreach to patients who may need to schedule an appointment. </li><li>Contact patients to remind them about their appointment to confirm and/or cancel appointments, to avoid no shows. </li><li>Cancel and reschedule appointments. </li><li>Manage templates for day to day edits and reschedules. </li><li>Contribute to the smooth operation of practice. </li><li>Return calls to patients in a timely manner and places outgoing calls as indicated by Providers. </li><li>Ensure patient visits are more efficient by identifying: </li><li>Records from transitions of care are available during the patient visit. </li><li>Results from labs or diagnostics are in the EHR. </li><li>Labs or other services that are not specified in the standing orders protocols. </li><li>Team Based: Assists team to maintain proper clinic flow. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or general education degree (GED), </li><li>Associate (AA) degree in medical Staff Services Management </li><li>Certified Medical Assistant training. </li><li>3-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred </li></ul> <p>Perks and Benefits:</p> <p>At Sunrise, we pride ourselves in over 50 years of exceptional support to our community and employees.
