If you thrive in a vibrant, supportive, and inclusive work environment, this opportunity is perfect for you!</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting in person or over the phone. </li><li>Schedules appointments and transportation. Prepares daily client update sheets and sends appointment reminders. </li><li>Provide patients with support and guidance as needed. </li><li>Maintains accurate and up-to-date information in the patient's EMR (Electronic Medical Record). </li><li>Manages medical record requests. </li><li>Processes payments, records and invoices to reconcile with finance. </li><li>Maintains necessary documentation and facilitates communication with providers to request authorizations for third-party payers and prior authorizations for nursing homes. Provides clinic-related correspondence to third-party billing company. </li><li>Maintains a safe and clean reception area. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must have high school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>At least 3 years related experience required. Experience working in physician's office or customer-facing experience in the healthcare field preferred. </li><li>Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including knowledge of Excel. </li></ul>
