<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Campus Title: Student Conduct Coordinator</p> <p>Budget Title: Senior Staff Assistant</p> <p>Unit: UUP</p> <p>Professional Rank and Salary Range: SL3, $57,500 min.DOE</p> <p>Duration: Temporary</p> <p>Brief Description of Duties:</p> <p>SUNY Morrisville is seeking a temporary college conduct coordinator to manage student conduct cases, ensuring fair and educational resolution processes, and handle administrative duties like record-keeping, report writing, and data collection. Key responsibilities include investigating incidents, holding resolution meetings, developing educational programs, collaborating with other departments, maintaining accurate records in Maxient, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and university policies.</p> <p>Core responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Case management: Receive, investigate, and assign student conduct referrals and conduct resolution meetings or hearings. </li><li>Adjudication: Administer the student conduct process in a fair, impartial, and educational manner, while maintaining accurate records. </li><li>Policy and procedure: Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training related to student conduct and academic integrity. </li><li>Education and prevention: Develop and lead initiatives to promote integrity, civility, and all behavioral standards. </li><li>Collaboration: Work with other university departments and offices, such as Title IX, Residential Life, University Police, and Academic Affairs, to ensure consistent and aligned responses to issues. </li><li>Reporting and analysis: Maintain accurate case records, gather data on typesa of cases, recidivism, types of students involved, etc. Write and submit annual reports including department, Clery, VAWA, Campus Hazing, etc. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>include a BA Degree and at least 2 years of full-time, professional experience in higher education and experience working with a diverse college student population. Understanding of Maxient, knowledge of student conduct principles/laws/best practices, strong communication skills, and ability to handle sensitive information. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in College Student Personnel or Higher Education Administration, previous experience working in an educationally based Student Conduct Office in a college setting, knowledge and experience working with Title IX, Title VI, CLERY. and an understanding of student development and student learning theories. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>SUNY Morrisville is committed to creating a vibrant community enriched by diverse perspectives, talents and experiences, and prohibits discrimination in employment based on gender, race, ethnicity, nationality, physical capability, age, creed, sexual identity, veteran status, and economic means.
