<p>Description:</p> <p>You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr. in Orlando, FL.</p> <p>This req is specifically to staff a D shift position (Thursday-Sunday 4/10s)</p> <p>What You Will Be Doing</p> <p>Join the Manufacturing Engineering group in the Lockheed Martin Sensor Integration and Test Center. A Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for</p> <ul> <li>Translating complex engineering blueprints and parts lists into easy to follow, all-encompassing work instructions for the mechanics/assemblers on the production floor. </li><li>You will be tasked with improving the overall process of the build using complex, cutting edge technologies and automation. </li><li>You will exercise your technical background to solve complex problems with troubleshooting and new development of processes for ever changing products being built in our factory. </li><li>Other job functions include RCCA, Lean Six Sigma improvement efforts, as well as developing process improvements in order to lower cost, increase quality, and deliver a better, repeatable product faster. </li></ul> <p>Why Join Us</p> <p>Do you want to be regularly challenged to solve problems? Discover more about our Orlando, Florida location.</p> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <p>Bachelors or Masters degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.</p> <p>Position requires 5+ years of production engineering experience with a related Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of production engineering experience with a related Master's degree.</p> <p>Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a Security clearance.</p> <p>Desired Skills:</p> <p>Desired skills :</p> <p>Experience writing technical work instructions</p> <p>Able to work in a cross function, teaming environment</p> <p>Detailed knowledge of GD&T</p> <p>SAP Experience</p> <p>Knowledge of LEAN Six Sigma manufacturing, concepts, and techniques</p> <p>CREO/ProE experience with a focus on tool design</p> <p>Experience working with electro-mechanical and/or optical assemblies</p> <p>Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.</p> <p>Clearance Level: Secret</p> <p>Other Important Information You Should Know</p> <p>Expression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.</p> <p>Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week</p> <p>Lockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer.
