<p>Job Description:</p> <ul> <li>Teacher will be responsible for teaching English/Language Arts to 6th grade students. </li><li>Demonstrate a high level of effectiveness. </li><li>Use a variety of instructional methods and materials. </li><li>Possess a growth mindset. </li><li>Maintain control that is conducive to safety in the classroom. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Valid IN teaching license. </li><li>Upon offer, applicant must complete and clear drug screen and expanded criminal history background check for school personnel as required by IN state law. </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Applicant must possess a knowledge of best practices in English/Language Arts instruction. </li><li>Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students of all abilities. </li><li>Strong communication skills in order to successfully interact with students, staff and parents. </li><li>Knowledge of technology needed for successful English/Language Arts classroom </li><li>Contract includes a comprehensive benefit package with health insurance (three plans options and LCSC Wellness Clinic), long-term disability & life insurance policies.
