Training occurs within the fertile clinical, research, and teaching environment of the University of Nebraska Medical Center. The individuals are encouraged to develop an area of clinical expertise, to begin a corresponding programmatic line of research, and to acquire the grant-writing skills necessary for securing extramural funding for the study and the assessment/treatment of autism spectrum disorders emphasized in the position but may also pursue the study and treatment of other genetic and behavior disorders. Track options include: 1) autism diagnostic services, 2) autism treatment tracks, 3) and autism diagnostic/treatment hybrid track.
