<p>Primary responsibility of the Material Handler is picking, packing, and shipping world-class guitars. We are seeking career-oriented individuals who desire to become a part of a world-class team. This is a full-time position in an aggressive, fast-paced distribution environment.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Warehouse experience is desired. </li><li>Ideal candidates will transition between performing pulling kits, accepting deliveries, distributing kits to the main plant, counting and weighing parts and data entry for inventory purposes. </li><li>Housekeeping duties within the warehouse. </li><li>Restock the area with the necessary supplies. </li><li>Driving a forklift. </li><li>Other duties as assigned by management. </li></ul> <p>Other duties</p> <ul> <li>Employee can be asked to perform other duties that are reasonable within the area of expertise </li><li>Assist in the removal of Hazardous waste from the site </li></ul> <p>Required Skills/Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Attention to detail </li><li>Small piece part production </li><li>Computer proficiency </li><li>Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced, results oriented environment </li><li>Ability to stand/walk for 8-10 hours per day </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds </li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills </li><li>Solutions oriented approach to challenges/issues </li><li>Outstanding time management skillset with the ability to prioritize without direct supervision </li><li>Ability to work as part of a team </li><li>Results oriented, taking ownership of goals and objectives. </li><li>Must be a self-starter </li><li>Mandatory overtime on an as needed basis </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Previous experience should center on daily production requirements </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Internal:</p> <ul> <li>Manufacturing locations </li></ul> <p>External:</p> <ul> <li>None </li></ul> <p>Travel Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Periodic travel to and between the company's manufacturing locations may be required (5-10%) </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li>Basic physical stances and actions (sitting, standing, walking) </li></ul>
