<ul> <li>Support planning and coordination of a program and its activities. </li><li>Works with director to determine current needs for program. </li><li>Ensure implementation of policies and procedures. </li><li>Maintain budget and track expenditures/transactions. </li><li>Manage communication through media relations, social media, etc </li><li>Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda. </li><li>Support growth and program development. </li><li>Ensures programs and services meet community needs. </li><li>Promotes program and membership enrollment in interactions with existing and potential members. </li><li>Coordinates program registration, including logistics to support phone, walk-in and web registration. </li><li>Coordinates with marketing efforts to maximize enrollments and provides ongoing support to Program Directors on related issues. </li><li>Ensures a level of service and engagement that fosters loyalty among those we serve. </li><li>Organizes membership events at the YMCA and represents the YMCA at community events to promote the YMCA. </li><li>Ensures proper implementation of front desk procedures. Reviews and updates desk procedures and communicates changes to staff in a clear, concise way. </li><li>Coordinates with the business office as necessary on financial transactions. </li><li>Participates in the planning of the annual budget; manages and implements the approved budget for membership and takes appropriate action to correct variances </li><li>Leads membership staff and volunteers effectively; recruits and hires diverse staff and volunteer teams; on boards and develops them for success. </li><li>Performs all other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>The YMCA Welcomes a Diverse Workforce</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V</p> <p>The Gateway Region YMCA strictly follows a zero tolerance policy regarding child abuse.</p> <ul> <li>College Degree in related field or equivalent preferred. </li><li>One to two years related experience preferred, as a coordinator of people or related activity. </li><li>Ability to use typical business software and office equipment. </li><li>Understanding of the role of volunteerism within the YMCA. </li><li>Completion of YMCA program-specific certifications. </li></ul> <p>Full Compensation Package (when applicable):</p> <ul> <li>Health Insurance </li><li>Dental and Vision Insurance </li><li>403(b) Retirement Savings </li><li>Retirement fund of 12% per pay period after 2 years of full time employment </li><li>20% Discount on tuition at Missouri Baptist University </li><li>Free household membership to YMCA nationwide </li><li>Discounts on YMCA programs </li><li>Discounts on YMCA Childcare </li></ul>
