As a Quality Inspector you will provide visual/measured inspections/tests of materials/products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if products meet all requirements. You'll also complete inspection records, and report and follow appropriate codes and regulations.</p> <p>Job Location: Newton, IA</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <ul> <li>Perform inspection of complex production systems or finished product </li><li>Complete inspection records and reports </li><li>May inspect incoming materials or plate, outgoing materials or fittings and welds throughout the manufacturing process </li><li>Maintain attendance within acceptable standards </li></ul> <p>What you'll need:</p> <ul> <li>1 year of manufacturing experience </li><li>Technical Skills </li><li>Proficiently utilize inspection tools and measuring equipment </li><li>Understand defects and determine acceptance status </li><li>High School Diploma or GED is preferred </li><li>Read, write and speak proficiently in English </li><li>Desire to learn </li><li>Team player </li><li>Flexible </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Dependable and punctual </li><li>Work ethic </li><li>Organized </li><li>Decision-making </li><li>Conflict & stress Management </li><li>Time management </li><li>Ability to cross-train </li><li>Strong communication skills </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds. </li><li>This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays </li><li>Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant </li></ul> <p>Safety Activities:</p> <ul> <li>Be aware of and observe all safety practices.
