With our network of financial and business analysts, appraisers, attorneys, and accountants working for you, you can rest assured that your most important financial transactions are in expert hands.</p> <p>The Financial Valuation Senior Manager has an expanding client base with significant revenue accountabilities.?This position may lead, or is a member of, the Growth Group with business development as a major job focus.</p> <p>Essential Functions and Primary Duties</p> <ul> <li>Perform business valuations across a range of purposes including financial reporting (ASC 805, ASC 718, ASC 350, etc.), 409A, gift & estate tax, fairness and solvency opinions, and ESOPs </li><li>Perform review of third-party valuation reports to support the firm's audit department </li><li>Regarded as a Subject Matter Expert within business unit and shares knowledge </li><li>Recognize business opportunities for our clients and for CBIZ </li><li>Manage staff on engagement deliverables; complete reviews as a member of the final review team to ensure quality control standards are met </li><li>Enhance and improve analysis processes, financial models, and reports </li><li>Responsible for new client development in partnership with upper management; participate in client meetings and presentation and proposal development </li><li>Supervise, train and mentor staff; listen and communicate effectively </li><li>Drive a team environment; demonstrate support of management decisions and builds a positive culture </li><li>Additional responsibilities as assigned </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Advanced degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or a related field </li><li>CFA, ASA, ABV, CPA or similar certifications </li><li>Familiarity with advanced financial valuation models, including binomial option pricing models, Monte Carlo simulations, etc. </li><li>Significant experience with valuation of business entities and intangible assets, complex capital structures, purchase price allocations, 409A valuations, goodwill and long-lived asset impairment </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required </li><li>8 years experience in public accounting or related field </li><li>5 years supervisory </li><li>Must have active CPA or equivalent certification </li><li>Ability to manage all aspects of client engagements </li><li>Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary </li><li>Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally </li><li>Proficient use of applicable technology </li><li>Must be able to travel based on business needs </li></ul>
