<p>Position Title: Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering</p> <p>Reports to: Chairperson of Mechanical Engineering Department</p> <p>Salary: $95,000 - $100,000</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Manhattan University seeks outstanding applicants for a tenure-track appointment at the Assistant Professor level, with a start date in August 2025. The candidate should have a specialization in solid mechanics/systems or Thermal/Fluids.</p> <p>This is an excellent time to join the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Having undergone significant growth over the last decade, the department has started to offer a concentration in Biomechanics and Aerospace at the undergraduate level. These concentrations are in addition to the nine concentrations currently offered in the graduate program. This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position.</p> <p>Manhattan University s tree-lined campus is located in the Riverdale neighborhood of the Bronx, adjacent to Van Cortlandt Park.
