This position is both hybrid and on ground at our Unitek Hayward Campus. Sales experience is required and preferred in this role.</p> <p>Pay is hourly: $28-32 hourly- Full time with benefits</p> <p>Unitek-Hayward offers diploma level programs in Vocational Nursing and Medical Assisting. The Admissions department follows a consultative sales process with prospective students. Most of the job duties involve contacting potential students who have already expressed an interest in enrolling at Unitek College, scheduling interviews with them, and--if appropriate--collecting documents for those students interested in applying.</p> <p>Job responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Respond to inquiries from potential students </li><li>Make a large volume of daily outbound phone calls to potential students to gauge interest and schedule interviews. </li><li>Present career planning options for potential students during in-person or virtual interview sessions. </li><li>Follow up with interested students to answer questions and collect admissions documents. </li><li>Document contact with students in student information database (Nexus/CampusVue). </li></ul> <p>Pay Range: $27-$34 an hour Depending on Experience within For Profit Education</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>The successful candidate MUST have:</p> <ul> <li>A proactive demeanor. </li><li>Excellent listening skills. </li><li>Passion for the value of higher education. </li><li>Energy and organizational skills for maintaining contact with multiple students every week. </li><li>Dependability for being at work, arriving on time, and following instructions. </li></ul> <p>Bachelor's degree and 2 years of successful work experience in Sales is strongly preferred.</p> <p>Extensive training will be provided on campus.</p> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>We Offer:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental and Vision starting the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment </li><li>2 Weeks' starting Vacation per year.
