<p>Purpose: The main goal of this role is to assemble mechanical and electronic parts and perform electrical tests. You will need to read schematics, follow verbal instructions, and work on high power amplifiers and power supplies. This position is 6-9 Months on contract</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>PCB assembly testing at the board level using digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, etc. </li><li>Mechanical assembly of power supplies and amplifiers. </li><li>Support the efforts of the engineering development team. </li><li>Learn product usage and application through system testing. </li><li>Prepare and create final product for shipment. </li><li>Part inspection with basic tools. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to read and work from wiring instructions, diagrams, and schematics. </li><li>Ability to read and work from assembly instructions and assembly drawings. </li><li>High aptitude for attention to detail and receptive to learning procedural work. </li><li>Familiarity with standard fasteners, such as a variety of screws, bolts, pins, nuts, and washers. </li><li>Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>1 to 3+ years of hands-on experience as an assembly tech in an electronic or related manufacturing environment. </li><li>Proficient with all basic hand tools. </li><li>Experience using oscilloscopes, function generators, multimeters, etc. </li><li>Technical certifications and/or AS in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering. </li><li>Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills. </li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. </li></ul> <p>Location: This position is based in Canton, Massachusetts. It is necessary for you to have your own transportation.</p>
