Serves as the primary contact for staff when they encounter unresolved issues.</p> </li><li> <p>Develops, implements, and maintains operational plans, programs, and systems, collaborating with the Systems Office Financial Aid for resolutions when necessary</p> </li><li> <p>Oversees staff performance and goal achievement, directing their activities, providing feedback, and conducting annual reviews.</p> </li><li> <p>Utilizes a comprehensive understanding of all positions to step in and assist or complete tasks in the absence of other staff members.</p> </li><li> <p>Handles special projects assigned by the Director of Financial Aid.</p> </li><li> <p>Processes professional judgment requests in conjunction with the Director of Financial Aid.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Communications, Education, or related field.</p> </li><li> <p>Two to Four years experience in Financial Aid</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of financial aid systems and processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to handle conflicts and provide constructive feedback.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.</p> </li><li> <p>High attention to detail, independent, self-motivated, adaptable to fast-paced environments.</p> </li><li> <p>Skilled in engaging and supporting students from diverse different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.</p> </li><li> <p>Professional and courteous communication at all levels, both internally and externally.</p> </li><li> <p>Efficiently prioritize and meet deadlines.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Forms, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word).</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Proficiency in using financial aid management systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working at the community college level.</p> </li></ul> <p>Employee Rights - Employee Polygraph Protection Act</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer - The Kentucky Community and Technical College System is an equal educational and employment opportunity institution.</p>
