<p>Park West is seeking a skilled Bilingual Registrar to support and receive patients between our Plaza and Belvedere locations</p> <p>Key responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Follow all policies and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Answer phone calls and answer a variety of questions and concerns over the telephone in a professional demeanor.</p> </li><li> <p>Enter a variety of data element into the computer system on a daily basis.</p> </li><li> <p>Schedule and reschedule patient appointments, including follow-up appointments, call-in and walk-in appointments.</p> </li><li> <p>Keep supply of appropriate/necessary forms available.</p> </li><li> <p>Remain courteous, calm and accurate transcribing verbal communication by telephone and during personal contact with clients and others.</p> </li><li> <p>Keep the working environment neat and clean.</p> </li><li> <p>Obtain correct up-dated demographics information, i.e. address,</p> </li><li> <p>Handle incoming telephone calls for appointments.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain provider schedules.</p> </li><li> <p>Print and distribute daily schedules to providers and clinical support staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Schedule and notify patients of appointments</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma or equivalent required</p> </li><li> <p>Fluent in both English and Spanish highly desired</p> </li><li> <p>At least two (2) years of clerical experience preferably in a medical office setting. Computer [iterate with proficiency in Windows and special emphasis on the development of data-based programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work as a productive "team" member with staff; in a professional/personable manner with staff and patients; and accepting of supervision with a desire to learn and grow.</p> </li><li> <p>The Registrar/Front Office Assistant is responsible for interviewing the patient upon arrival, capturing and verifying all patient's demographic and insurance information, securing required signatures, and scheduling patient appointments</p> </li></ul>
