<p>Position Summary</p> <p>This position is part of the License Plate and Postal Services Unit, which handles acquisition, inventory management and distribution of up to 1.5 million Wisconsin license plates, related validation stickers and disabled hang tags annually. The unit collects, processes and delivers thousands of pieces of incoming and outgoing mail for the department. This also includes sorting and routing mail to other state agencies located at 4822 Madison Yards Way in Madison and acting as the liaison between the building's agencies and DOA Mail Transportation. This position responsible for auditing, management, and distribution of registration materials including vehicle titles, certificates of registration, license plates, validation stickers and related materials.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>This position is in schedule-range 02-10. The starting pay for this position is $20.63/hr, plus excellent benefits. A twelve-month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.</p> <p>Job Details</p> <p>This state agency does not sponsor work visas. You may be able to qualify for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program if you work for Wisconsin State Government.</p> <p>This position requires the ability to frequently lift up to 30 pounds with occasional lifting up to 70 pounds. This position requires repeated bending, lifting, standing and walking for long periods of time.
