<p>OVERVIEW:</p> <p>Job Title: Pipe Welder - Fabrication</p> <p>Rotational Schedule: 5/2</p> <p>Work Location: Houma, LA</p> <p>PES Expectations:</p> <p>A successful candidate will exhibit characteristics that support the following:</p> <p>Safety Awareness</p> <p>Work Ethic</p> <p>Technical Skill</p> <p>Customer Focus</p> <p>Open Communication</p> <p>Implementing Vision and Values</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Be able to perform welding on various materials at required positions using different welding processes, including, but not limited to, GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and SAW.</p> <p>Lay out, position, fit, and weld various piping and structural components, including pipes, flanges, fittings, valves, piping supports, structural plates, beams, etc., in accordance with the supplied piping/structural fabrication drawings.</p> <p>Set up, troubleshoot, and operate welding machines in accordance with job specifications and welding procedures.</p> <p>Adjust valves, gauges, and flames as needed, and be capable of handling compressed gas and oxygen cylinders safely.</p> <p>Operate air arc gougers, grinders, and other industrial machines, tools, and equipment.</p> <p>Participate in JSAs and all other Safety, Health, and Environmental Processes.</p> <p>Conduct behavior-based safety observations.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>3 or more years of prior fabrication experience</p> <p>Experience using safe work habits</p> <p>6G - TGAW/FCAW</p> <p>Candidates will be required to pass a Hands-on Welding Test</p> <p>Why work for PES?</p> <p>PES offers competitive wages, sustainable health benefits, 401K company match, and opportunities for employee development.</p> <p>Sounds like your ideal employer.</p> <p>Apply today!
