EQUIPMENT CO.</p> <p>Job Title: Superintendent Oil & Gas</p> <p>Department: Operations</p> <p>Reports to: Division Manager</p> <p>FLSA: Exempt</p> <p>Doty Bros Construction is a leading company in the construction and engineering industry. We perform engineering & construction work in a variety of market segments. We are headquartered in Los Angeles with business units in LA, Riverside, San Diego and Ventura performing work throughout California.</p> <p>We are searching for a Superintendent to provide direction and guidance to field foreman, and project engineers on all construction projects assigned to them. Oversee the entire project in conjunction with project engineers, and Project Managers.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution on construction projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations. </li><li>Manage crew members to ensure the project is running efficiently, within schedule, scope and budget </li><li>Work with project management team daily. </li><li>Review and approve costs associated with projects. </li><li>Ensure the project is completed safely on time, within scope and budget. </li><li>Lead construction team, site supervisors, and subcontractors </li><li>Manage project budgets and productions </li><li>Implement industry best practices </li><li>Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations </li><li>Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors and partners to support long-term business development </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 15 years of experience in oil and gas construction, with 5+ years' experience in a superintendent/management role. </li><li>Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects </li><li>Strong knowledge of construction best practices, safety standards and regulatory requirements. </li></ul> <p>LICENSE:</p> <p>Possession of or ability to obtain a valid class C California driver's license</p> <p>SKILLS, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, planning and analytical skills required. </li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, walk, stand and sit for prolong periods. </li><li>The employee is frequently required to use hands to fingers, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. </li><li>Ability to operate a motor vehicle, required. </li></ul> <p>Working conditions consist of temperature-controlled buildings or offices, outside elements such as rain, cold, and heat when working with in open environments, driving from various locations or attending meetings, etc. Noise levels are moderate to loud depending on work location.</p> <p>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature of the work performed by employees assigned to this position.
