This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the senior leadership team environment. This position will report to the Senior Vice President & General Manager, Life Sciences & Intermediates and will provide direct support to the SVP & General Manager, Life Sciences & Intermediates and the SVP & General Manager, Specialty Additives.</p> <p>You will work closely with two senior executive leaders and their leadership teams across Life Sciences & Intermediates and Specialty Additives, partnering with Commercial, R&D, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership colleagues globally.</p> <p>We love new ideas and innovation - bring yours to the table. This role is encouraged to proactively identify better ways of working, streamline processes, and enhance how senior leaders operate and engage across the organization.</p> <p>Travel, including globally, is expected on a limited basis to support in-person leadership meetings and events.</p> <p>The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:</p> <ul> <li>Provide high-level administrative support to two SVP & General Managers, including complex calendar management, meeting prioritization, and scheduling across global time zones. </li><li>Coordinate and manage executive meetings, leadership team forums, town halls, and offsite events, including agendas, materials, logistics, and follow-up actions. </li><li>Prepare, edit, and format executive-level presentations, correspondence, and meeting materials using Microsoft 365 tools. </li><li>Manage complex domestic and international travel arrangements and associated expense reporting. </li><li>Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, exercising sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism. </li><li>Partner closely with senior leaders to anticipate needs, manage priorities, and enable effective execution of business and leadership objectives. </li><li>Maintain organized records, files, and documentation in alignment with company standards and confidentiality expectations. </li><li>Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, meeting effectiveness, and executive productivity through continuous improvement. </li><li>Actively contribute to the organizational goals by taking initiative, executing on goals and focusing on performance and safety. </li><li>Improve the organization capacity and capabilities through building collaborative relationships, optimizing diverse talent, and utilizing positive communications and influence with others. </li></ul> <p>In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience supporting senior-level leaders (SVP, GM, or equivalent) in a complex, matrixed organization. </li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. </li><li>Experience managing complex calendars, travel, and logistics for senior executives. </li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. </li><li>Proven ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism. </li><li>Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree. </li><li>Demonstrated responsible and ethical behavior at all times. </li><li>The ability to help the company drive greater value through understanding the business, making complex decisions, and creating the new and different. </li></ul> <p>The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:</p> <ul> <li>Experience supporting multiple senior leaders simultaneously. </li><li>Prior experience in a global, industrial, Life Sciences, specialty chemicals, or related environment. </li><li>Strong anticipation skills and the ability to operate effectively with minimal direction. </li><li>Experience supporting senior leadership meetings, town halls, or executive communications. </li><li>Physical Requirements </li></ul> <p>Standard office environment; ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.</p> <p>In more than 100 countries, the people of Ashland LLC.
