<p>Essential Duties :</p> <ul> <li>Continuously track the performance of compression units and provide recommendations for optimization. </li><li>Utilize data analytics to recommend predictive maintenance strategies that prevent failures and extend asset life. </li><li>Perform onsite audits of compressor units to assess condition and identify maintenance requirements. </li><li>Provide recommendations to Business Unit leaders on optimal candidates for engine and compressor overhauls. </li><li>Conduct failure analysis on wrecks to identify leading indicators and prevent future catastrophic failures. </li><li>Collaborate with data and analytics teams to develop tools and capabilities supporting predictive maintenance and workflow automation. </li><li>Perform analysis and prepare reports supporting customer engagement and business development activities. </li><li>When required, directly participate in customer engagement activities, particularly related to production system optimization and minimizing Call out Production occurrences. </li><li>Perform lookbacks on major maintenance decisions to determine effectiveness of major maintenance, e.g., call outs/OPEX before and after engine overhaul. </li><li>Conduct performance lookbacks on major maintenance projects to drive continuous improvement in major maintenance execution. </li></ul> <p>Non-Essential improvement. </li><li>Thorough understanding of compression equipment. </li><li>Strong analytical skills to derive actionable insights from data. </li><li>Understanding of natural gas production facilities and optimization. </li><li>Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Exhibit strong customer service, interpersonal, negotiation, coaching and leadership skills. </li><li>Participate in regular management reviews of operational measures and corrective actions, evaluate against benchmarks, and develop, communicate and execute action plans for improvement. </li><li>Manage annual budget and implement operational standards and processes. </li></ul> <p>Proficient with:</p> <ul> <li>Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, PowerBI etc.) and PC Skills. </li><li>Archrock Field Mobile (AFM). </li><li>Enbase Telematics Suite. </li></ul> <p>Knowledgeable in:</p> <ul> <li>Data management, analytics, and visualization practices and tools. </li><li>Preparing and delivering technical communications. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge:</p> <ul> <li>Comprehensive knowledge of Field Service operations. </li><li>Knowledge of service operations administration, procedures, budgets, planning, scheduling, equipment and personnel requirements. </li><li>Understanding of financial implications of decisions. </li><li>Thorough knowledge of relevant HSE procedures and regulations. </li><li>Fully understands customer's production facilities and equipment. </li><li>Detailed knowledge of engine and compressor equipment used in the area. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Education and Certification:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent (required), Associates degree / technical degree preferred. </li><li>Data analytics training / certificate preferred. </li><li>Valid driver's license and a good driving record. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in field operations, either as a field technician or in a field operations management role, with hands-on knowledge of operational processes, equipment, and best practices. </li><li>Demonstrated history of success in managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment. </li></ul> <p>Leadership:</p> <ul> <li>Implements, manages, and communicates work standards and performance metrics for improving unit health and utilization of predictive analytics. </li><li>Able to lead through influence and coordination to drive adoption of recommendations and results in the field. </li><li>Develops strong relationships with BU personnel including Field Supervisors, Service Managers, Operations Directors, and BU Vice Presidents and able to manage through interpersonal conflicts. </li><li>Problem solving skills to achieve resolution to conflicts related to operational priorities and project resourcing. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential Innovation:</p> <ul> <li>Analyzes unit and facility health and provides recommendations to improve performance and reduce downtime. </li><li>Investigates wrecks and fires to determine root cause and recommend preventative measures. </li><li>Finds immediate and long-term solutions to prevent escalation and resolve conflicts. </li><li>Implements preventative and corrective actions in a timely manner. </li><li>Expected to identify opportunities, provide ideas, methods and innovations, and to implement improvements to enhance safety, teamwork, efficiency and quality. </li></ul> <p>Impact:</p> <ul> <li>Full responsibility for developing and adhering to unit health analysis and workflows. </li><li>Supports maintenance execution through operational and financial lookbacks. </li><li>Supports service area HSE performance, service quality, and customer satisfaction. </li><li>Assists with preparation of the major maintenance budget for assigned area by providing recommendations on overhaul candidates. </li></ul> <p>Has a critical role in monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing the health of compressor units. Responsible for leveraging data analytics, predictive maintenance techniques, and operational insights to improve equipment reliability, efficiency and service availability. Leverages knowledge of compression operations, maintenance practices, and data-driven decision making to support Archrock's objectives of improving unit reliability. The Operations Technologist reports centrally to the Director, Maintenance and Analytics Support, but will directly support an assigned Business Unit and will be actively engaged with the BU VP, Ops Directors and Service Managers in the assigned Business Unit.</p>
