<p>Westfield Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for an anticipated opening. RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach students various aspects of the electrical industry including residential, commercial and industrial wiring. Instruct students in the Electrical field respective to MA General Code and National Electrical Code (NFPA 70) aligned with CVTE Chapter 74 frameworks. Provide quality instruction relative to all aspects of health and safety as they relate to the electrical industry. Curriculum and lesson plan development Provides individual and group instruction appropriate to the needs of the student(s) and the requirements of the activities being performed. Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and exams, providing constructive feedback to support skill development. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning, collaboration, and creativity. Maintain ongoing communication with families, business, and school staff. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, tools, and technologies and incorporate them into the curriculum. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal education regulations. REPORTS TO: Building Director or his/her designee. Salary and terms of employment will be commensurate with the Westfield Public Schools Unit A contract. Salary placement will be based on information contained in the application as submitted. Performance on this job will be evaluated in accordance with the Westfield School Committee policy on evaluation. This position subject to funding.</p>
