<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>The Accounts Receivable Fiscal Technician manages and secures partnerships between the college and external sponsors. Performs paraprofessional accounting duties related to student sponsorships and sponsorship activity posted to student accounts receivable. Review and process invoices, reconciling invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records and documentation. Review and record data into the accounting system before the billing process to provide accurate invoices to sponsors.</p> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <p>This position requires a high school diploma and experience in clerical accounting or bookkeeping. Preferred candidate will have an associate degree with accounting related courses and two (2) years of accounting or bookkeeping experience; or a high school diploma and four (4) years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Ideal candidate will have working knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping practices, experience with automated student financial aid processes and the ability to interpret and analyze student aid transmittals. Good customer service skills and the ability to communicate with internal and external customers are essential. This position works under limited supervision. Candidate must be able to make independent decisions, exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality.</p> <p>Additional Comments</p> <p>Applicants MUST complete the online SC State Jobs Employment Application.
