Be the difference.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Plans, develops and organizes the activities of the clinical staff, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of quality health care.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li> <p>All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's values: Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists physicians with examinations, procedures and other activities related to direct patient care. Fields and directs clinical telephone calls.</p> </li><li> <p>Participates in the assessment of clinical staffing needs by maintaining a master work schedule, adjusting staffing levels and forecasting staffing needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Develops and conducts orientation and in service training for clinical staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Develops, implements and maintains emergency preparedness plan.</p> </li><li> <p>Serves as chief liaison between the clinical staff and physicians.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with development and maintenance of quality improvement by reviewing incident reports, patient complaints and suggestions, current practices and actions taken. Develops and conducts programs for enhancing patient satisfaction.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitors local, state and federal regulations affecting operations and assists with the development, implementation and monitoring of appropriate policies and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Contacts vendors for repair or routine service of medical equipment. Forwards proposals/quotes to Office Supervisor for approval.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains adequate levels of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for adherence to DEA, DHEC and other regulatory agency policies and procedures for ordering, dispensing, storing and disposing of pharmaceuticals.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversees physician's office schedule.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Supervisory/Management Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education - High School diploma or equivalent OR post-high school diploma/highest degree earned</p> </li><li> <p>Experience - Three (3) years of experience in clinical field of certification.</p> </li></ul> <p>In Lieu Of</p> <ul> <li>NA </li></ul> <p>Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses</p> <ul> <li>Certification or licensure in one or more of the following: South Carolina LPN license, OR- Radio-logic Technologist (ARRT), OR- Limited Practice Radiologic Technologist, OR- General, Medical Laboratory Technician, OR- Certified Surgical Technician </li></ul> <p>OR- Registered Respiratory Technician, OR- Medical Assistant certification including: CMA (AAMA); RMA (AMT); CCMA(NHA); NCMA (NCCT); RMA (ARMA); NRCMA (NAHP); or RMA (AAMP)</p> <ul> <li>Certification must be maintained throughout employment in role.
