<p>Kforce has a client in Smithfield, RI that is seeking a SDET.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Work in a team of SDET's focused on automation standard methodologies and building reusable artifacts </li><li>Designing test automation suites to thoroughly test APIs and back-end systems </li><li>Participating in testing strategy for system conversion activities </li><li>Working and collaborating on emerging technologies to solve legacy test challenges </li><li>Implementing test infrastructure that can deliver business values immediately but also grow interactively </li><li>Work with your agile delivery team, chapter lead and QA team members to understand domain and accelerate their test automation strategy to enable delivery velocity* Minimum BS in Computer Science or Engineering </li><li>6 years of proven experience in commercial software development using object-oriented design methodology </li><li>Demonstrated ability with Java, Typescript and Python combined </li><li>API testing experience is a must </li><li>Experience with API testing tools like Karate, Rest Assured </li><li>Experience with web application test automation frameworks like Playwright, Selenium </li><li>Knowledge/Experience on Cloud (AWS) is contributed </li><li>Proven technical experience as an automation engineer/software engineer working across a diverse range of applications at multiple layers of the technology stack </li><li>You are a strong contributor with a collaborative work style, and you enjoy designing and implementing efficient and effective test strategies </li><li>You have experience in testing distributed applications at multiple layers of the technology stack using a variety of automation frameworks </li><li>You have expertise with using Java or JavaScript and experience with Cucumber/BDD </li><li>You have validated knowledge of CI/CD principles using Jenkins and Git and can make recommendations on how to best include test automation into pipelines </li><li>You bring a learning mentality to your work and are eager to learn and embrace new technologies </li><li>You thrive in an Agile environment and believe in the value of t-shaped squad members </li></ul>
