<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Day Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Responsible for maintaining, servicing, and operating all facility equipment and fixtures. Assists in maintaining the overall working condition and appearance of building and grounds of facility while maintaining a safe environment.</p> <p>Responsible for performing, maintaining, repairing, and operating facilities grounds equipment and fixtures, such as: heating, cooling, plumbing, water, gas, electrical, mechanical, communications equipment, carpentry, painting, laminating, laundry and kitchen equipment, fire systems</p> <p>Maintenance Worker is responsible for the general maintenance and grounds keeping of the site. Performs semi-skilled maintenance to non-mechanical equipment as instructed.</p> <p>Answers assigned daily maintenance requests consisting of:</p> <p>Does assigned preventive maintenance work</p> <p>Does construction work when required</p> <p>Displays proficiency in the use of hand and some power tools</p> <p>Will assist and do any kind of work related to the functions of the Site Maintenance Department if required</p> <p>Additional</p> <p>Stays productive between assigned tasks</p> <p>Able to work independently and show initiative to accomplish goals of the department and organization</p> <p>Keeps work and storage areas neat</p> <p>Tools and equipment are kept clean and operable</p> <p>Work is completed within a time frame acceptable to the supervisor</p> <p>Adheres to established procedures and rules; reports for work regularly and timely</p> <p>Operates company vehicle and works at multiple locations</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>NYS Drivers License</p> <p>At least 2 years of experience in maintenance</p> <p>High School Diploma or GED</p> <p>Pay Range:$17.25 - $22.54</p> <p>Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
