No waiting periods. </li><li>Full benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Life Insurance, Short and Long-term Disability </li><li>Retirement savings plan with employer match and contributions </li><li>Colleague Referral Program to earn cash and prizes </li><li>Unlimited career growth opportunities with one of the largest Catholic healthcare organizations in the country </li><li>Tuition Reimbursement </li></ul> <p>Position Purpose:</p> <p>Provides assistance as necessary to surgeons and residents by selecting, organizing, anticipating and passing surgical instruments, medical supplies, equipment, and provides retraction under the direction of the surgeon.</p> <p>What the Surgical Technologist Will Do:</p> <ul> <li>Applies knowledge of surgical anatomy, physiology, and operative technique relative to all procedures. </li><li>Applies principles of asepsis and infection prevention. </li><li>Identifies breaches in aseptic technique and implements interventions for resolution. </li><li>Assists with position, prepping and draping of the patient. </li><li>Provides assistance as necessary to surgeons and residents by selecting, organizing, anticipating, and passing surgical instruments, medical supplies, equipment, and provides retraction under the direction of the surgeon. </li><li>Assists with exposure through appropriate use of instruments, retractors, suctioning and sponging. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Completion of a Surgical Technologist program; or six years of surgical tech experience </li><li>Certified Surgical Technologist preferred </li><li>Familiarity with standard desktop and windows-based computer system, including email, e-learning, intranet and computer navigation. </li><li>Ability to use other software required to perform essential functions. </li></ul> <p>Our Commitment</p> <p>Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
