Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements</p> <p>Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained</p> <p>Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle</p> <p>Performs proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas</p> <p>Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)</p> <p>Utilizes multiple architectural patterns/components in design and delivery of solutions</p> <p>Documents and communications required information for deployment, maintenance, and support of business functionality</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <p>4+ years of experience in software development</p> <p>UI: Angular and at least one of the following - HTML/JavaScript/Typescript/CSS</p> <p>Services: Java, Spring Boot Microservices and at least one of the following - Spring Security and Authentication, Hibernate/JPA</p> <p>Testing: Junit, and either Mockito or Jasmine</p> <p>Platform tools: at least one of the following - Jenkins, Git, JFrog Artifactory, Splunk, RHEL</p> <p>Persistence: SQL, Oracle</p> <p>Packaging and deploying services via WAR files, Integration with downstream systems via RESTful and SOAP interfaces.</p> <p>Desired Qualifications:</p> <p>Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree</p> <p>Experience with Cloud technologies: Kubernetes, OpenShift</p> <p>Keep up to date on current and upcoming features in relevant products and platforms.</p> <p>Solid understanding of containerization</p> <p>Strong written and verbal communication skills</p> <p>EEO Employer</p> <p>Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
