<p>Oxygen Systems US supports commercial, military and general aviation life support equipment. The technician would support the testing and characterization of products and materials used in aerospace applications; following industry standards. Products and materials vary from mechanical to chemical materials.</p> <p>Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.</p> <ol> <li>Assemble prototypes and modify production parts for tests. </li><li>Set up laboratory apparatus to perform desired tests per engineering and governmental requirements/instructions. </li><li>Conduct tests and record data. </li><li>Communicate test information via written or verbal reports to responsible engineer. </li><li>Perform lab support functions: equipment calibration and repair, inventory and organization of lab supplies. </li><li>Submit a weekly record of hours spent on each job. </li><li>Perform other support work as required. </li><li>Responsible for evaluating and monitoring the functional performances of new and existing products/materials. </li></ol> <p>Listed above are the ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS of this job classification.
