<p>Responsibilities & Requirements</p> <p>The Registered Nurse is responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>Prepares patients and examination rooms, taking initial medical history for the chart, taking vital signs. </li><li>Assist physician in special procedures, including minor surgery as required. </li><li>Receive and handle phones calls as directed by physician. </li><li>Accountable for his/her own professional development and practice within the scope of care defined by law. </li><li>Any other duties relating to the business operation of the medical practice that may be assigned by the physician(s) or practice office manager. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Current RN license in State of Ohio. </li><li>ADN (or equivalent experience) required but BSN preferred. </li><li>Must be ACLS and CPR certified. </li><li>Excellent communication and teaming skills. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Previous nursing experience preferred. </li><li>Epic training/knowledge experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Overview</p> <p>Kettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 13 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio.
