<p>Kforce has a client in Chicago, IL that is seeking a Program Manager.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects ensuring quality delivery, within expected timelines & approved budgets from requirement definition through design, development, testing, rollout, and support </li><li>Oversee the requirements delivery, design, development, testing, and deployment of technology solutions leveraging Azure Cloud Data Lake, Databricks, and related tools </li><li>Create and maintain information technology project plans that communicate tasks, milestone dates, dependencies, critical paths, status, and resource allocation </li><li>Perform project planning and sizing activities, identify resource requirements, and oversee a cross functional team capable of producing specified deliverables </li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and end-users, to define project requirements and deliverables </li><li>Manage project risks, issues, interdependencies, and dependencies, proactively addressing challenges to minimize impact </li><li>Manage a RAID log on an ongoing basis and facilitate risk mitigation, issue resolution and action planning to manage interdependencies </li><li>Ensure proper integration of cross functional capabilities with other business applications and systems </li><li>Work closely with developers, consultants, and third-party vendors to implement system customizations and enhancements </li><li>Monitor project performance and report progress to senior management and stakeholders </li><li>Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-implementation reviews </li><li>Develop and maintain a project budget sheet and track project financials at weekly and monthly intervals </li><li>Develop and execute a communications plan to identify and communicate major milestones and risks to achieving those milestones in a positive manner* Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Project Management, or a related field </li><li>10+ years of experience in IT project management with a focus on Data and Analytics projects </li><li>Prior experience leading end-to-end project management for data and analytics initiatives, including scoping, planning & analysis, execution (incl testing), monitoring, and closure </li><li>Prior experience creating work breakdown structures with milestones and dependencies so that the critical path is identified and tracked. </li><li>Advanced problem solving and decision-making skills: Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and make sound decisions </li><li>Ability to oversee the design, development, and deployment of data architecture, databases, and analytics solutions leveraging Azure Cloud Data Lake, Databricks, and related tools </li><li>Ability to inspire and motivate project teams, foster collaboration and resolve conflicts. Manage project team in a Matrix organization </li><li>Prior experience managing project budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation while achieving desired financial outcomes </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities </li><li>Advanced written and oral communication skills with proven ability to deliver clear messages, set expectations, and build relationships with all groups, even when delivering a tough message </li><li>Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills with a proven ability to communicate within complex projects and across diverse teams </li><li>Strong familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project management methodologies </li><li>Prior experience as a Scrum Master </li><li>Strong proficiency in MS Project and similar project management tools </li><li>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - MS Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint) </li><li>Proficiency with other agile work management tools such as Azure Dev Ops (ADO), JIRA, etc. </li></ul>
