<p>Manager within the Accounts Payable job family. Receives objective based assignments, and determines resources to meet schedules and goals. Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies. Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect section or multiple disciplines. Decisions impact others in the immediate team and influences methods and techniques. Executes financials, business planning, organizational priorities and workforce. Complexity & Problem Solving: Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors. Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Develops and manages operational initiatives to deliver tactical results. Discretion & Impact: Translates functional plans into operational processes and guides execution. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will add to costs and may have up to a one year impact. Collaboration & Interaction: Interacts frequently with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group professionals, involving matters between sections and multiple units. Partners with key contacts outside own area of expertise and other external stakeholders. Effectively communicates and presents results and recommendations across discipline. Management & Supervision: Manages the activities of multiple sections or a discipline through subordinate supervisors and/or professionals. Guides by function or department practices and well defined management precedents.</p> <p>Manager (Salaried People Manager with at least 1 direct report.)</p> <p>Position Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Business Administration. Professional designation preferred. </li><li>3-5 years of proven work experience in Accounts Payable, previous supervisor experience required. </li><li>Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports. </li><li>Advanced computer skills including Excel, Word, and other MS Office Suite programs. </li><li>Excellent communication (written and oral) skills with the ability to effectively articulate conclusions from analysis conducted, including challenges and opportunities. </li><li>Proven experience analyzing workflows and driving process improvements. </li><li>Strong compliance with company values and ethics. </li><li>Positive attitude, good judgment, team-based, and strong interpersonal skills. </li><li>Strong sense of responsibility and ownership. </li><li>Maintain confidentiality. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to operate a motor vehicle while maintaining focus on safe driving and avoiding all distractions when behind the wheel, especially cell phones. </li><li>Ability to stand, walk and sit for long periods of time; talk and hear, both in person and by telephone; handle or feel objects or controls, reach with hands and arms; and occasionally lift/push/pull/carry up to 25 pounds. </li></ul> <p>Must be able to complete all essential job functions listed in the position responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.</p>
