The Experiential Learning Coordinator works directly with students and will coordinate all aspects of the College's undergraduate research program, including policies, budget, workshops, application, selection and assessment. This position also serves as the SCHC liaison to the Undergraduate Research Office and coordinates the travel grant award process. The Experiential Learning Coordinator will be responsible for developing a pre-health student cohort. In addition, this position will create programs and events to support students who are interested in healthcare.</p> <p>Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience</p> <p>Requires a bachelor's degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.</p> <p>Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Some knowledge of USC policies, procedures, and programs is preferred. Creates and implements an annual plan with strategic goals and initiatives. Creates and follows appropriate policies and procedures. Effectively manages the program budget and associated reporting. Assists with the hiring process of students. Tracks and approves hours for research grant recipients via the USC online timekeeping system. Maintains data on SCHC student participation in research. Annually assess program for impact, growth and improvement.</p> <p>Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 30 Job Duty</p> <p>SCHC Research Program: Communication and Engagement</p> <p>Coordinates the College's research program, including all associated engagement and communication. Serves as the SCHC liaison to the Undergraduate Research Office and faculty offering research opportunities. Manages the student application, selection, and notification process.
