Shaw Elementary School 58 Elmwood Street Millbury, MA 0152</p> <p>Posted: April 21, 2026 Closing date: Posted until filled</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Building Leadership Team</p> <p>PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: provide high-quality, rigorous, direct instruction to students; collaborate with grade-level and special education teams to provide quality instruction to students; analyze and use data to inform instruction; participate fully in professional development; perform other professional duties as assigned by the Building Administration.</p> <p>ABILITY TO: establish and maintain cooperative, collaborative, and effective working relationships with others; establish positive relationships with students and their families by creating two-way lines of communication; communicate clearly in oral and written form with confidentiality; analyze data accurately in order to inform instructional practices and develop systems of intervention; reflect on student learning, teaching practices, and feedback; effectively use instructional technology to meet the needs of all learners.</p> <p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Teaching experience preferred; valid Massachusetts Elementary Teacher Licensure with SEI Endorsement, required; demonstrated knowledge of and experience with research-based assessments; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others.</p> <p>SALARY: In accordance with the Millbury Teachers' Association contract</p> <p>Letter of application should include information regarding educational preparation, classroom experience, and appropriate licensure.
