Cape Regional Physicians Associates with over 60 primary care providers and specialists, delivering services in multiple locations throughout Cape May County.</p> <p>Experience Required</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for setting up the patient in the exam room </li><li>Perform and Document: </li><li>Vital signs (manual BPs), </li><li>EKGs, </li><li>Reconciliation of medications </li><li>Reason for visit, health care concern </li><li>Interview/Discuss with patient changes in patient's health since last visit </li><li>Assist the provider with minor surgical procedures </li><li>Prepare appropriate medications for injections </li><li>Responsible for phone messages, faxes, and Medical Reception responsibilities as needed </li><li>Knowledge of medical insurance terminology, computer skills for scheduling and familiarity of general office procedures and equipment </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent, required </li><li>Certified Medical Assistant </li></ul> <p>License/Certification Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Medical Assistant Certification </li></ul> <p>Special Requirements</p> <ul> <li>1-3 years of prior experience in ambulatory care preferred </li></ul>
