<p>Overview</p> <p>Compensation: $18 - $22 based on experience and credentials</p> <p>Location Type: On-site</p> <p>Position Type: Full Time</p> <p>Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8:30am-5:30pm</p> <p>Prepares title insurance commitments. Assists closing agents in the processing function to accomplish closing transactions.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Orders surveys, termite inspections, and payoffs for loans that are paid off at closing. </li><li>Prepares title insurance commitments and forwards them to the lender or other appropriate parties. </li><li>Prepares preliminary CDs and forward to the lender or other appropriate parties. </li><li>Clears title issues that arise during the title search. Communicates with lenders and other parties regarding title issues discovered in the title search. </li><li>Calculates title insurance premium for quotes. </li><li>Attends job-specific training classes as requested by manager. This includes completing annual Compliance Training, which includes but not limited to Cyber Security courses. </li><li>Attends job-specific training classes as requested by manager. Completes annual BSA/AML compliance training and understands employee's role in maintaining an effective BSA/AML compliance program, and completes FACT Act Red Flag training. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Two plus years related title insurance processing experience, </li><li>General knowledge and understanding of title insurance processing, closing, and disbursement. </li><li>Good math proficiency in order to prepare title insurance quotes and invoices. </li><li>General knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance necessary to successfully perform job responsibilities, including Title Insurance Industry policies and procedures. </li><li>Good data entry and computer skills. </li><li>Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. </li><li>Able to prioritize tasks, deal effectively with competing and changing priorities, and meet deadlines. Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized. Able to resolve routine problems and situations. </li><li>Basic knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance necessary to successfully perform job responsibilities. </li><li>Good verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills in order to interact professionally and effectively with members, staff, vendors, and government regulators.
