<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Vacancy for a full time Technology Integrator K-4 at South Elementary School beginning in the 2025-26 school year. All candidates must hold or be eligible for appropriate CT certification.</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>The Technology Integrator combines pedagogical knowledge with technical expertise to enhance teaching and learning across the district. They work collaboratively to provide leadership and build capacity by integrating technology seamlessly into curriculum and instruction through direct instruction, coaching, co-teaching, and professional development. As the bridge between school-level needs and district-wide initiatives, the Technology Integrator guides the selection, implementation, and optimization of instructional software and network resources, troubleshoots challenges, and designs district-wide training programs. They also partner with curriculum teams on technology-infused projects, ensuring every tool and strategy aligns with best practices and supports high-quality learning experiences</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Connecticut Professional Educator Certificate (Technology Education endorsement preferred) </li><li>K-12 classroom teaching experience with demonstrated success integrating technology into instruction </li><li>Proven track record designing and delivering technology-infused lessons, and digital literacy instruction </li><li>Proficiency with proven and emergent educational technologies (e.g., learning management systems, productivity suites, multimedia tools, VR/AR and AI) and foundational networking concepts </li><li>Strong working knowledge of ISTE, CSTA, and Connecticut's technology standards, with experience mapping them to curriculum objectives </li><li>Exceptional facilitation and presentation skills, with experience leading professional learning communities and coaching adult learners </li><li>Experience guiding curriculum development teams, applying learning theories (e.g., constructivism, SAMR, TPACK) to drive instructional innovation </li><li>Demonstrated ability to cultivate partnerships across departments (classroom, library, IT) to advance district-wide technology initiatives </li><li>Strong organizational and project-management skills, including leading technology roll-outs, grant writing, or committee work </li><li>Comfortable leveraging qualitative and quantitative metrics (surveys, analytics, student outcomes) to evaluate technology impact and inform continuous improvement </li><li>Ability to engage diverse learners and staff-across grade levels, disciplines, and technical proficiencies </li><li>Commitment to ongoing professional development-attending conferences, earning micro-credentials, and participating in relevant professional organization </li></ul> <p>Please be sure to apply on our district website, www.ncps-k12.org and upload a cover letter, resume, three letters of recommendation, transcripts and a copy of your certification (if available)</p>
