As part of this vision, Jacobs is leading the charge on transportation decarbonization within our Transportation team.</p> <p>Large-scale adoption of zero-emissions technology is still in its early stages, and presents significant technical, organizational, and logistical challenges for our clients. Zero-emissions fleet adoption and infrastructure enhancements will require detailed planning, multi-disciplinary collaboration, significant financial resources, and motivated staff to support successful execution.</p> <p>Jacobs is expanding our team to tackle the complexities of decarbonization for some of the largest transportation operators in the world.</p> <p>We are looking for an experienced and collaborative Project Manager who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running on time and within budget. Based in Los Angeles, you'll be working on exciting and engaging projects focused on zero-emissions transportation. You will be engaging with our existing fleet electrification projects, as well as supporting pursuits for new work in the broader zero-emissions transportation space.</p> <p>You will be one of the company's key contacts with clients and you'll assure overall work progress and technical performance on projects. You will contribute to and manage teams in the completion of work tasks, including the strategic planning, design, and implementation of projects for our transit agency clients. You will also support the development and pursuit of new opportunities in this growing market space with other fleet management client types.</p> <p>Our project delivery leadership and other senior project manager /operations leaders will clear the way for your inventive thinking and exploration, so you have the support, means and space to deliver solutions for our clients. As a passionate leader, you will leverage your mentorship skills to support our emerging talent to grow and develop our team.</p> <p>If you are excited by the possibilities of a zero-emissions future, motivated by a challenge, and enjoy working with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team to develop innovative solutions, Jacobs is the place for you.</p> <p>Here's what you'll need</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, Civil, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or applicable discipline and/or equivalent experience) </li><li>Professional Certification in CA required </li><li>At least 15 years' experience in professional consulting, at a transportation agency, or in another relevant environment including at least 10 years managing a team on transportation facilities projects, ideally in zero-emissions </li><li>Strong technical, design, and project management skills in relevant areas including operation and maintenance facilities design, construction, renovation, and/or operations </li><li>Experience with zero-emissions transportation projects is a plus </li><li>Progressive Design Build or Design Build delivery experience is a plus </li><li>Excellent communication, time management and report writing skills </li><li>Great mentorship and leadership skills </li></ul> <p>Posted Salary Range: Minimum</p> <p>154,700.00</p> <p>Posted Salary Range: Upper</p> <p>270,800.00</p> <p>Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
