<p>The purpose of this position is to "seek to bring forth and establish the cause of Zion."</p> <p>Fully qualified individual contributor in which all Headquarter Facility environmental control systems are maintained to provide an environment to enhance the experience of customers and save energy.</p> <p>Pay range for this position is: $36.00 - $44.00/hr depending on experience and education.</p> <p>This position qualifies for the Sign-On Incentive and Bi-Annual Retention Incentive for new employees who fill positions that have been hard to fill and will be working within HQF Facility Maintenance.</p> <p>The retention incentive will be contingent upon the employee's continued employment with the HQF Facilities Maintenance Team during the specified period.</p> <p>For the new hire to receive the retention incentive, they must meet performance expectations throughout the program, determined by their manager during 1:1s and evaluations. Final decision will be approved by the Facilities Maintenance Manager, upon approval, Human Resources department will initiate the necessary steps to disburse the incentive in a timely and efficient manner.</p> <p>Sign-On Incentive</p> <p>$500 paid upon completion of the employee's first 2 weeks.</p> <p>Bi-Annual Retention Incentive</p> <p>$2,000 paid out over a period of 2 years structured as follows:</p> <ul> <li>$500 paid at end of the first 6 months. </li><li>$500 paid at end of the first year. </li><li>$1000 paid at end of the second year of employment. </li><li>Installs, maintains, calibrates, and operates all control field hardware needed to manage mechanical equipment and instrumentation systems. </li><li>Control field hardware includes field controllers, master controllers, programmable logic controllers, low voltage power supplies, sensors, transmitters, transducers, air flow devices, actuators, relays, low voltage wiring, pneumatic tubing, regulators, enclosures, and thermostats. Typical systems include Honeywell, Niagara N4, Johnson Controls, Alerton, etc. </li><li>Programs, troubleshoots, and maintains FMS computers, supervisor computers, servers, master controllers, , field controllers, user databases, alarm banners, trending and history databases using Honeywell CARE, Quick Builder Niagara N4 Work Bench, Johnson Controls Metasys CCT Tool, and Alerton programming software and tools for proper control of equipment. </li><li>Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains communication networks such as LON, BaCnet, C-Bus, FC- Bus, SA-Bus, RS 232 and 485 serial communications, fiber, and ModBus. </li><li>Trains other Control Technicians as requested by supervisor. </li><li>Manages control projects as assigned by supervisor. </li><li>Performs maintenance on damper systems. </li><li>Performs other tasks as assigned by Management. </li></ul> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>4+ years of experience with HVAC automation/controls, electronics and pneumatics in a large campus setting. </li><li>Experience required with one or more of the following systems: Honeywell, Niagara AX, Johnson Controls, Alerton, etc. </li><li>Experience should include working with large, commercial building control systems programming, making technical adjustments, troubleshooting and repair. </li><li>Demonstrated computer skills with programs such as Word, Excel, database management, graphical programming for mechanical equipment, and web browser configuration. </li><li>Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and sequence of operations. </li><li>Must pass all required safety and equipment certifications and trainings. </li><li>Must be able to understand English for general communication, video training, building security, and safety. Also, must be capable of understanding instructions both verbally and in writing and able to listen and ask clarifying questions as needed. </li><li>Must be able to work in a professional manner with others as well as alone without constant supervision. Must have a positive attitude with the ability to work as a team. </li><li>Must be able to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds occasionally. </li><li>Must also be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, push, and pull for extended periods of time. </li><li>Must be able to safely climb ladders and use safety harnesses as needed. </li><li>Must have a valid driver's license. </li><li>Must have at least 20/40 vision with or without corrective lenses and not less than 120 degrees combined horizontal peripheral vision. </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Serviceman experience </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and pipefitting trades </li></ul>
