<p>The Senior Auditor/Consultant performs professional internal auditing services which include financial, operational, information technology and compliance audits; provides consulting services to operations management and staff; and provides input for developing the annual internal audit plan.</p> <ul> <li>Support for external auditors. </li><li>Internal assurance services (operational, compliance, financial), consulting projects, special investigations. </li><li>Improving financial and operational control procedures for existing programs. </li><li>Developing financial and operational control procedures for new programs prior to implementation. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Education</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree Accounting, Business Administration, Finance Required </li></ul> <p>Minimum Work Experience</p> <ul> <li>5 years Experience in a health care environment in the area of financial, operational and/or compliance auditing. Required </li></ul> <p>Licenses and Certifications</p> <ul> <li>Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Preferred or </li><li>Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) Preferred or </li><li>Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC) Preferred </li></ul> <p>Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency with PC based business systems: Excel, Access, Power Point. </li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting practices, concepts, and internal controls. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, plus strong written and verbal communications skills. </li><li>Ability to work with personnel at all levels within the organization. </li><li>Must be able to work with and protect confidential information. </li><li>Must work independently and as a member of a team when needed. </li></ul>
