<p>When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you're making a difference in people's lives.The BILH Executive Director, System Nursing will support the design and integration of programs necessary to achieve streamlined services & shared decision making necessary to achieve the vision of a distinguished BILH nursing brand. The Executive Director will collaborate with designated entity and system leaders (i.e., case management, HR, OD, nursing informatics) and build-out an integrated model that supports the overall BILH system and local entity goals and KPIs. Reporting to the BILH Chief Nursing Officer, the Executive Director, System Nursing Operations assumes responsibility for Culture & Retention Strategies, Nursing Informatics, Case Management Program, and Patient Throughput.Job Description:Primary Responsibilities: 1. Provides professional leadership and acts as a member of the BILH Nursing Leadership team. Supports the programmatic creation of systemwide strategies and support implementation of standardized nursing operations embedded in patient throughput and meeting the system goals with these collaboratives. 2. Has the responsibility to Support local leaders in developing and improving operations to create optimal performance levels.3. Support the operationalization of patient care throughput initiatives throughout the system with an oversight of BILH Case Management Program 4. Provide insights to the local entities for staffing to volume5. Represent the nursing voice as the system nursing informatics representative6. Provide on-site support to the local entities to promote the ongoing initiatives as needed.7. Work closely with multidisciplinary team members at the system and local sites to drive nursing performance and meet or exceed system goals Required Qualifications:1. Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Finance or Hospital Administration required. Doctoral degree in Nursing Practice or PhD in Business Admin, Healthcare Finance or Hospital Admin preferred. 2. More than 10 years related work experience required and 5-8 years supervisory/management experience required.3. At least five years of progressive nursing leadership experience. 4. Advanced skills with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access and other web-based applications. May produce complex documents, perform analysis and maintain databases. Competencies: 1. Independence of Action: Ability to set direction and vision for major departments or multiple departments. Establishes priorities, develops policies and allocates resources. 4. Written Communications: Ability to communicate complex information in English effectively in writing to all levels of staff, management and external customers across functional areas. 5. Oral Communications: Ability to verbally communicate complex concepts in English and address sensitive situations, resolve conflicts, negotiate, motivate and persuade others. 6. Knowledge: Ability to demonstrate broad and comprehensive knowledge of theories, concepts, practices and policies with the ability to use them in complex and/or unprecedented situations across multiple functional areas. 7. Team Work: Ability to lead and direct multiple collaborative teams for large projects or groups both internal and external to the Medical Center and across functional areas. Results have significant implications for the management and operations of the organization. 8. Customer Service: Ability to lead operational initiatives to meet or exceed customer service standards and expectations in assigned unit(s) and/or across multiple areas in a timely and respectful manner Age based Competencies: Employees in this job must be competent to provide patient care to the following age groups:Neonatal:Birth to 6 months, Youth: 6 months to 16 years, Young adult: 16-30 years, Middle Age: 30 - 60 years, Elderly: 60 -. Physical Nature of the Job: Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Some elements of the job are sedentary, but the employee will be required to stand for periods of time or move throughout the hospitals/facilities. Frequent travel to BILH hospitals/facilities. Pay Range: $225,000.00 USD - $250,000.00 USDThe pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
