We are looking for a candidate with the desire to develop skills through on-the-job experience and continued education to advance in the design profession.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Must be willing to work in a collaborative and team environment.Must possess strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.Must possess strong computer skills and excellent interpersonal skills.</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of Microsoft products </li><li>Ability to perform design related math functions </li><li>Ability to read and interpret written instructions and drawings (blueprints) </li><li>Firm understanding of Design Standards, Manufacturing Processes and Military Specifications including GD&T </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma/GED or Vocational High School diploma </li><li>2-6 years of design experience </li><li>Experience reading and interpreting blueprints drawings </li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in drafting (portfolio) with Computer Aided Design (CAD) is required (NX preferred) </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Two year Technical School/College </li><li>Experience with mechanical systems </li><li>Experience withCATIA and/or NX </li><li>Experience in Design for Six Sigma, Lean Design/Manufacturing </li></ul>
