<p>Position Available: Intervention Specialist - Moderate/Intensive (Resource Focus)</p> <p>Locations: Tallmadge City Schools/Tallmadge Elementary</p> <p>Start Date: August 8, 2025</p> <p>Salary: Per negotiated agreement</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>? Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist Licensure</p> <p>? Knowledge and training in working with students with emotional, social, behavioral, and mental health</p> <p>needs preferred</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>? Maintains appropriate and timely communication with students, parents, district personnel, and other</p> <p>partner agencies</p> <p>? Collaborate with appropriate grade level teachers and building personnel to facilitate inclusion</p> <p>opportunities, maintain pacing of academic instruction, and building wide activities</p> <p>? Responsible for case managing students with disabilities which includes writing IEPs, data collection, and</p> <p>progress monitoring</p> <p>? Establish and maintain a structured learning environment with student behavior management,</p> <p>academic instruction, and scheduling; includes planning delivery of engaging and academic activities</p> <p>? Work in collaboration with any and all personnel assigned to the classroom and students to support the</p> <p>academic, mental health and social emotional needs</p> <p>? Knowledge of IEP/ETR requirements and how to write a compliant IEP</p> <p>? Passion for working with students with disabilities and students with academic and behavioral needs</p> <p>? Ability to provide verbal de-escalation or physical restraint if necessary (restraint certification training will</p> <p>be provided)</p>
