Please log into Workday and use the Career Tile to find and apply to jobs from our internal career sites.</p> <p>The Student Success Coordinator (SSC) will assist students to improve student retention, persistence, completion rates, and guide them from admissions to degree completion. The SSC will ensure students receive academic advising and any necessary intervention measures; the SSC will have a targeted focus on student success and retention. The SSC will collaborate with the other UC teams to design and implement retention initiatives and communicate with faculty and staff regarding student concerns.</p> <p>Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred</p> <p>Key Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>The Student Success Coordinator will</p> <ul> <li>Offer insight to ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of all processes related to the enrollment experience </li><li>Guide applicants/prospects through the enrollment process, when necessary </li><li>Register new students and assist returning students with registration </li><li>Collaborate with others on student and class schedules </li><li>Work with Financial Aid and Office of Student Accounts to guide student financial aid and billing processes </li><li>Run reports of students not registered and seek to retain them through communication efforts </li><li>Maintain data and contact students in jeopardy of withdrawing or failing school. </li><li>Ensure communication with students on a regular basis in person, by text, telephone, and e-mail to facilitate retention activities. </li><li>Provide students with program instruction and guidance from enrollment to graduation. </li><li>Daily collaborate with other departments on campus </li><li>Engage and educate students throughout their academic program. </li><li>Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Compensation: Commensurate with Experience and Expertise</p> <p>Benefits: Yes</p> <p>Job Type: At Will</p> <p>Job Location: Main campus - University of the Cumberlands</p> <p>Cumberlands is different by design.
