IT'S AMAZING WHAT CAN HAPPEN WHEN YOU START COMPLETELY FRESH!</p> <p>What You Will Do</p> <p>The transportation coordinator is?responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods, people, or materials by various modes of transportation, ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery while adhering to regulations, by planning routes, scheduling deliveries, selecting carriers, monitoring driver performance, and resolving any transportation issues that may arise;?essentially overseeing all aspects of logistics to ensure smooth transportation operations.</p> <p>How You Will Make an Impact</p> <ul> <li>Scheduling transportation services, allocating drivers, and planning routes. </li><li>Negotiating contracts and processing payments. </li><li>Keeping transportation operations within budget without compromising efficiency. </li><li>Processing transportation documentation and monitoring drivers' logbook entries. </li><li>Developing, implementing, and improving transportation policies and procedures. </li><li>Recruiting, training, and supervising drivers and transportation division staff. </li><li>Liaising between management, drivers, and customers. </li><li>Collaborating with internal departments to optimize transportation services. </li><li>Evaluating driver performance, handling customer queries, and resolving complaints in a timely manner. </li><li>Complying with transportation regulations and company policies. </li></ul> <p>What You Will Bring</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in transportation management, logistics, project management, or similar preferred. </li><li>A minimum of (2) two years' experience as a transportation specialist in a related industry. </li><li>In-depth knowledge of transportation industry regulations. </li><li>Proficiency in transportation management software. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions and duties of this job.
