Position Summary Administers overall operations of a clinical Advanced Practice Provider (APP) team in a department or program to include staffing, staff development, strategic planning, budgeting, quality assurance, and administration of activities and personnel that impact inpatient and/or outpatient clinical operations. Qualifications Education/Training • APRN candidate: MN or MSN or DNP or PhD or DNS degree in nursing required. • PA candidate: Graduate of accredited physician assistant program. Licensure/Certification • APRN candidate: Current license in the state of Florida. After July 1, 2006, licensure applicants are required to have national advanced certification from an approved nursing specialty board. • PA candidate: Current licensure in state of Florida and maintains NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assitants). • All Candidates: American Heart Association BLS certification.
